Privacy Policy

Dialed is an app and website at eatdialed.com, operated by Trillogy, based in Phoenix, Arizona ("Dialed," "we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account details: your email address, or your name, email, and profile photo from Google if you sign in with Google.
  • Profile and goal details: your goal, age, sex, height, weight, activity level, and calorie and macro targets.
  • Taste and diet preferences: cuisines you like or dislike, flavor and texture preferences, diet style, foods you never eat, allergies, meal budget, and how often you eat out.
  • Food logs and feedback: meals you log, swaps you choose, ratings you give, and reports you send us.
  • Messages you send to support.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: screens you view, buttons you tap, and events such as finishing the quiz or logging a meal. We also record sessions to see how people move through the app. Text you type into fields is hidden in these recordings.
  • Device data: browser or device type, operating system, approximate location based on IP address, and diagnostic data.
  • Location: if you allow it, your device location, used to show restaurants near you. You can turn this off at any time in your device or browser settings.

Before you create an account, your quiz answers are stored only on your device. They are saved to your account when you sign up.

2. How we use your information

  • To calculate your targets and recommend meals that fit your goals and taste.
  • To run the app: creating your account, signing you in, and saving your logs and preferences.
  • To understand which features work, fix problems, and improve Dialed.
  • To send service messages, such as sign-in codes and notices about important changes. We send marketing emails only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To keep Dialed safe and to meet legal requirements.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your health or diet information for advertising, and we do not share it with advertisers.

3. Health and diet information

Some of what you share, such as your weight, height, body goals, allergies, diet, and food logs, may be considered health data under some state laws, including Washington's My Health My Data Act. We collect it only to provide the features you use and to personalize your recommendations. We do not sell it or use it for advertising, and we share it only with the service providers listed below who process it on our behalf. You can change or delete it at any time.

4. How we share information

We share information only with service providers who help us run Dialed, and only as needed:

  • Hosting, database, and sign-in services (Lovable Cloud, built on Supabase).
  • Google, for Google sign-in and restaurant location data.
  • PostHog, for product analytics and session recordings.
  • AI service providers, to generate meal suggestions, swaps, ordering steps, and nutrition estimates. We send the meal and preference details needed for each request, not your name or email.
  • FatSecret and USDA FoodData Central, to look up nutrition data. We send food search terms, not personal information.
  • Open Food Facts, to look up packaged foods when you scan a barcode. We send only the barcode number, no personal data.
  • Payment processors such as Apple and Stripe, if you buy a subscription. We never see your full card number.
  • Email delivery providers, to send sign-in codes and service messages.

We may also share information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger, sale, or transfer of the business. If that happens, we will notify you and this policy will continue to apply to your information.

5. How long we keep information

We keep your information while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your profile, preferences, and food logs within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep something. Backup copies are removed within 90 days. Analytics data is kept for a limited time, generally no longer than 24 months.

6. Your choices and rights

  • Edit your profile, targets, and preferences at any time in Profile.
  • Delete your account at any time in Profile, under Delete account, or by emailing us.
  • Turn location access off in your device or browser settings.
  • Request a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing support@eatdialed.com.

Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Washington, and other states, you may have additional rights under state law, including the right to appeal our decision on your request. We respond to requests within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for using your privacy rights. We honor Global Privacy Control signals.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Age requirement

Dialed is not meant for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If we learn that we have, we will delete it. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us.

9. Where information is processed

Dialed is based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the date at the top, and if the changes are significant, we will notify you in the app or by email.
